Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Bac Ninh province gives gifts to poor households in Dai Son commune

BAC NINH - Implementing the winter charity program in 2025, on the morning of November 11, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Bac Ninh province coordinated with monks, Buddhists, and businesses of Thanh village pagoda (Bac Giang ward) and Canh Linh pagoda (Tan Dinh commune) to visit and give gifts to families in difficult circumstances in Dai Son commune.

Representatives of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Bac Ninh province presented gifts to households in difficult circumstances in Dai Son commune.

Dai Son is a mountainous commune with 19 villages and nearly 12,000 people, of which more than 74% are ethnic minorities. The whole commune currently has over 11% poor households and nearly 10% near-poor households. People's lives are still difficult, especially after being affected by storm No. 11.

Sharing the hardships of the people, the volunteer group gave 105 gifts to households in difficult circumstances, each gift included 1 million VND, 2 boxes of instant noodles and 1 mosquito net.

The winter volunteer program is an annual activity of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Bac Ninh province, demonstrating the spirit of "compassion - charity" of Buddhism, while spreading good humanistic values, contributing to the effective implementation of social security work with local authorities and Party committees.
