The class is held free of charge for students.
Talking to reporters of the Vietnam Women's Newspaper, Lieutenant Colonel Dam Huu Tinh, Chief of Son Dong Commune Police, said: "Equipping 'digital luggage' for students in the highlands is very practical. This class not only helps students access modern knowledge and technology, but more importantly, it forms digital thinking and skills to use social networks safely and healthily. This is the foundation for students to confidently integrate into the digital transformation era, opening up many opportunities for learning, employment and self-development in the future."
Organizing the class "Digital luggage for youth in mountainous areas" is part of a series of activities of the Commune Police to improve the quality of propaganda and legal education for young people.

Students study in the school's IT room.
In the coming time, Son Dong Commune Police will continue to maintain classes in the evenings, and coordinate with the school and the Youth Union to expand the model to other schools in the commune. The long-term goal of the program is to form a generation of highland youth with solid digital knowledge and skills, who know how to use social networks responsibly, and know how to protect themselves and those around them in cyberspace.
"Furthermore, we hope this model will become a bridge to help highland students access national digital transformation, contributing to building a safe, civilized, and modern society," said Senior Colonel Dam Huu Tinh.
