Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Huynh Thuy Van met with voters of Quy Nhon ward

(GLO)- On the morning of November 4, Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council Huynh Thuy Van and the provincial People's Council candidates in the area had a meeting with voters of Quy Nhon ward before the regular meeting at the end of 2025 of the 12th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council delegates informed voters of the results of the Provincial People's Council's activities from July 1 to present; announced the expected program and content of the regular meeting at the end of 2025 of the Provincial People's Council, term XII, 2021-2026 and answered voters' opinions and recommendations at previous voter meetings.

After listening to the announcement, Quy Nhon ward voters highly appreciated the role and performance of Gia Lai Provincial People's Council since the merger of the two provinces.

In particular, many important local issues have been decided, serving as a basis for all levels and sectors in the province to implement and exceed assigned targets and tasks; contributing significantly to ensuring the operation of the 2-level local government model; promoting socio -economic development, maintaining national defense and security in the province.

Along with that, voters also had many recommendations revolving around issues related to the management of extra teaching and learning; ensuring food safety and hygiene; facilitating and speeding up the process of handling applications for fishing licenses for boats under 9 meters long of fishermen in Ward 9; strengthening urban management, rectifying the situation of encroachment on sidewalks and ensuring security and order in the ward.

At the same time, voters also recommended that planning and information should be made public when implementing projects to promote the inspection and supervision role of the people and create convenience for people in constructing and repairing works and houses...

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Huynh Thuy Van thanked voters for their enthusiastic and responsible comments on the management and operation of the government apparatus in the province.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the departments, branches and Quy Nhon wards to pay attention and promptly resolve the legitimate recommendations within their authority. The opinions and recommendations beyond their authority will be compiled by the Provincial People's Council delegates and sent to the relevant agencies and submitted to the regular meeting at the end of 2025 of the 12th Provincial People's Council for early resolution.
