Prepare well for the conference connecting businesses between Dong Nai and Ehime province

(DN) - On the afternoon of November 11, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Kim Long chaired a meeting with the delegation of leaders of Ehime province (Japan) led by Mr. Yamato Ikeda, Director of the Department of Economy and Labor, to prepare for the conference connecting businesses between the two sides.

Accordingly, it is expected that in January 2026, a program will take place in Dong Nai to connect trade and explore cooperation and investment opportunities between businesses of both sides. The Ehime Provincial delegation will have a number of industrial manufacturing enterprises participating in the working group to meet, exchange and discuss with Dong Nai businesses on the issue of supplying raw materials for production, signing cooperation agreements on trade, etc.

Mr. Yamato Ikeda said: Ehime Prefecture has recently had bilateral cooperation programs with localities in Vietnam, in which Dong Nai is the province that has received much attention from businesses. The trade connection conference early next year will be a premise for Ehime to invite more and more businesses in the province to be interested in investing and cooperating with businesses in Dong Nai.

Speaking to the working delegation, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Kim Long affirmed: The foundation for cooperation between Dong Nai and Ehime has been established since the two sides signed the Memorandum of Understanding on January 17, 2018. This is an important document, demonstrating the commitment to promote cooperation in the fields of industry, supporting industry, human resource training, trade promotion and supply chain linkage projects.

Dong Nai hopes and requests Ehime province to study and implement more strongly the signed contents, especially in strategic industries where both sides have strengths and development needs such as: aviation industry, semiconductor industry, electronic equipment and smart manufacturing technology transfer.

To effectively connect businesses between the two sides, the provincial leaders assigned the Management Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones to act as a bridge with relevant units of Ehime province, prepare content and programs as well as invite more businesses from the two localities to participate in a variety of industries, especially in the fields that Dong Nai is interested in and attracting investment.
