On November 11, comrade Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong province, and the working delegation visited and worked in Quang Hoa commune to grasp the actual situation of the locality after the merger.

Quang Hoa commune currently has an area of ​​8,544 hectares, a population of 8,685 people, of which ethnic minorities account for 98.3% and the poverty rate is 13.4%.

Despite many difficulties, the commune government after the merger has stabilized its organization, operated smoothly, and ensured the completion of political and professional tasks.

The socio- economic development, national defense and security situation in Quang Hoa commune continues to be stable and has achieved many positive results. The work of receiving and handling administrative procedures has achieved high efficiency.

The leaders of the Party Committee of Quang Hoa commune proposed a number of contents related to personnel work and ensuring stability for cadres after the rearrangement.

However, the number of cadres, civil servants and public employees is still lacking compared to regulations, especially in the fields of construction, public investment, finance - accounting, education and training, healthcare, and information technology.

Currently, the number of officials and civil servants present is 41/62 (21 people are missing). Of which, the Party bloc has 16/27 people (11 people are missing); the government bloc has 25/35 people (10 people are missing).

From the above difficulties, at the working session, the leaders of Quang Hoa commune proposed that the province pay attention to and consider mobilizing civil servants with appropriate qualifications and expertise, especially in the fields of construction, finance - accounting, education and training, healthcare, information technology; and supplement the teacher payroll.

Leaders of the Department of Home Affairs discussed the issue of commune recommendations related to personnel work.

Specifically, upgrading inter-village, intra-regional and inter-commune roads. Quang Hoa to Quang Son; support funding to renovate, repair and upgrade the Quang Hoa commune cultural house into the office of the Public Administration Service Center and the Commune Public Service Supply Center; consider and supplement funding to repair and upgrade 8 public service houses serving the public officials and civil servants working in the commune with a total investment of about 1.5 billion VND.

Speaking at the working session, comrade Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, praised the spirit of efforts, overcoming difficulties and shortages of human resources and facilities to complete the tasks of the new commune-level government.

In particular, although the facilities are not yet synchronous and degraded, the commune has created a clean, tidy and airy working environment so that cadres, civil servants and public employees are motivated to work and serve the people better and better.

Regarding the proposal for public housing for officials and civil servants who work far from home to have a place to eat, stay, and rest to "settle down", the commune needs to do it immediately so that they can stabilize their lives and work with peace of mind. The location proposed by the commune to be repaired to serve as a place to eat and stay for officials and civil servants working away from home.

Regarding the locality's proposal to repair 8 houses, comrade Ho Van Muoi requested to consider the quantity clearly, and at the same time check and re-evaluate the actual condition of the 8 proposed houses to see how many can be repaired, to avoid doing it wherever needed, causing waste.

Regarding the issue of building new rural roads, Chairman Ho Van Muoi requested that in the immediate future, the locality needs to mobilize people to work together; plant flowers and trees in front of their houses to create a green, clean and beautiful environment.

Regarding the proposal to upgrade the road section through the commune center with a length of 5km, the commune needs to immediately put it into medium-term investment. At the same time, it should be noted that the road construction needs to be carefully studied, built to a moderate level, not too wide, ensuring cleanliness, beauty, and having ditches and drainage pipes. Before proceeding, the locality needs to consult the people, mobilize the people to donate land for road construction to create consensus, especially ensuring smooth site clearance during construction.

To facilitate people's travel and trade, the province will invest in upgrading a number of key roads, and at the same time request localities to ensure safety for students during the rainy season, especially in areas with sewers and ditches.

Regarding the proposal to invest in a clean water plant, relevant sectors and localities need to survey people's needs, calculate carefully, and only proceed when there is a guaranteed plan.

Regarding the electricity issue, relevant units need to work immediately with Lam Dong Electricity to resolve the issue for the locality, especially in the current digital transformation period so as not to affect the activities of the commune level and the lives of the people.

On the same day, the working delegation of the Provincial People's Committee visited the Quang Hoa Commune Public Administration Service Center and surveyed a number of local locations proposed for investment in canals, roads, clean water works and public housing.
