At the meeting, Mr. Huynh Van Dung, Chairman of Dak Lak Province Business Association, informed the leaders of the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan about some important information about the socio -economic situation of Dak Lak province.
Specifically, since the beginning of the year, Dak Lak's economy has continued to grow positively and comprehensively: GRDP increased by 6.9%, striving to reach 8% for the whole year; export turnover reached 2.61 billion USD (up 42% over the same period last year), with key products being coffee, durian, pepper, honey, seafood...; budget revenue was more than 13,500 billion VND; tourism welcomed 6.68 million visitors (up 41% over the same period); 2,538 newly established enterprises (up 68% over the same period last year), bringing the total number of operating enterprises to nearly 20,000 enterprises...
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Huynh Van Dung expressed his thanks to the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan for their attention, reception and support. He also emphasized the significance of the trip in the context of Dak Lak province promoting international integration and expanding export markets.
Mr. Dung affirmed that Japan is one of the strategic partners, key markets and long-term stability of Dak Lak. Therefore, he hopes that through promotion activities, businesses of both sides will have more opportunities for deeper cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, high-tech agriculture and processing of local specialty products.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Pham Quang Hieu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Japan, highly appreciated the proactive, receptive and dynamic spirit of the Dak Lak business community.
Dak Lak has the potential to become a bright spot in Vietnam-Japan cooperation, especially in the fields of high-tech agriculture, deep processing of agricultural products, seafood for export, renewable energy, eco-tourism and training of high-quality human resources. The Vietnamese Embassy in Japan will continue to accompany, support and connect to help provincial businesses access Japanese organizations, associations and investors more effectively.

At the same time, he emphasized that the Japanese market, although demanding, is stable and sustainable. To integrate effectively, Dak Lak enterprises need to focus on product quality, food safety standards, traceability, packaging, labels and brand stories with local identity, while strictly implementing commitments to green, sustainable development and social responsibility...
It is known that this is one of the important activities of the Dak Lak Business Association before attending the Niigata Food Messe 2025 International Food Fair and surveying the Japanese market. The delegation includes 28 typical businesses and entrepreneurs of Dak Lak province, representing many key production and business fields such as agricultural products, food, coffee, honey, seafood, consumer goods and organic agriculture.
