Thanh Bui performs on stage with his two sons.
In a recent performance, singer-songwriter Thanh Bui performed the song "Dad Tells Me a Story" with his students and, notably, with his twin sons, Khai An and Kien An. This was the closing performance of the twins' course at the music academy founded by the singer himself. The performances were presented by the students with the support of their teachers.
During his performance with his two sons, Thanh Bui couldn't hide his emotions. He burst into tears right after the performance ended.
Thanh Bui shared that his son suffers from speech delay. Both of his boys still hadn't learned to speak by the age of two.
Recounting the anxious months of worrying about her children's autism, Thanh Bui said: "I found a very good doctor. The doctor came to our house and accompanied my children for three months before concluding that they were not autistic, but only had a language disorder. We took things step by step to solve the problem. Now, my children are 6 years old and I am proud of their excellent development. Khai An and Kien An even have aspects that are developing faster than their age."
Thanh Bui has almost completely disappeared from the public eye and is no longer working on music projects. He is focusing on educational projects instead of showbiz activities. Previously, Thanh Bui was a well-known songwriter and vocalist who collaborated with many international singers. Before returning to Vietnam, Thanh Bui spent 18 years in the arts in Australia. He signed a contract with Universal, wrote thousands of songs, opened a music school in Australia, and had several international hits.
Thanh Bui has achieved much success in the field of art.
Despite being a talented and highly successful artist, many still believe that his marriage to a woman from a wealthy family was thanks to her generosity.
The male musician asserted: "I don't care about money, so I don't feel offended when people say my success is due to my wife. I'm not just sitting around doing nothing. Success starts with action. If I had to explain myself to everyone, it would be a waste of time; that time could be spent doing something more meaningful."
He added: "I am myself, doing what I am passionate about. It doesn't matter what I am, what matters is what I am doing."
