A huge success, Elden Ring has sold over 20 million copies.

According to Engadget , in an investor report shared on ResetEra, in just over a year, the game Elden Ring has sold about 20.5 million copies.

Specifically, Bandai Namco shared in the investment document that "repeat sales of existing titles such as Elden Ring are strong, especially in overseas markets, with worldwide sales reaching 20.5 million."

Elden Ring has sold over 20 million copies.

The publisher added that it expects a “decline” in repeat sales of the game going forward. However, if Elden Ring can sell a few more million copies, it will join the list of best-selling games of all time, alongside hits like God of War (2018) and Grand Theft Auto V.

The milestone comes a year after Elden Ring had the best start ever for a FromSoftware title, selling over 12 million copies in just 18 days after its release.

Elden Ring 's strong performance also bodes well for FromSoftware's next game, Armored Core VI . When it launches this August, the new title will be the first new game in the Armored Core series in nearly a decade.
