Due to the impact of storm No. 10, at around 4:30 a.m. on September 29, at Phu Khe bridge area, Hoang Phu commune, a roof of a house was suddenly blown down by the wind, trapping 4 people in a family, including children, inside. Immediately upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police (PCCC and CNCH), Thanh Hoa Provincial Police quickly arrived at the scene, coordinated with the Commune Police to urgently deploy vehicles and equipment to safely rescue all 4 victims.
At the same time, in many villages in Hoang Phu commune, dozens of other houses had their roofs blown off, walls collapsed, and completely collapsed; trees and electric poles fell onto the railway tracks, causing railway traffic jams and widespread power outages. The commune government mobilized local forces to coordinate with the commune police, militia and people to make initial repairs.
Traffic police promptly rescued a crew member who had a seizure.
At 4:30 a.m. the same day, the Traffic Police Department of Thanh Hoa Province Police received a report that a crew member working on the Hoang Long ship anchored on the Ma River had a seizure and needed to be taken to the emergency room.
Upon receiving the information, the Waterway Police Team quickly deployed forces and vehicles, using motorboats to brave the storm to reach the location of the ship in distress to organize the rescue.
With a sense of responsibility and urgency, the working group approached the location, brought the victim, Mr. Truong Van Dung, born in 1975, residing in Hoang Thanh commune, Thanh Hoa province, the captain of the ship, to shore safely and promptly transferred him to Hop Luc General Hospital for emergency treatment.

In Sam Son ward, since early this morning, heavy rain, rising sea levels and water from upstream have caused many residential areas and roads in the area to be severely flooded. In particular, Chau Loc quarter has had water from the Thong Nhat river overflow into the residential area, threatening the safety of 188 households.
Faced with the complicated and dangerous situation of storms and rains, from 5 a.m., the People's Committee of Sam Son Ward urgently directed departments, branches, organizations, military forces and police to be present in Chau Loc quarter to overcome the consequences of flooding, reinforce the banks of Thong Nhat River, prevent water from overflowing into residential areas and urgently evacuate people and property to safety.
Together with the local Party Committee and government, Sam Son Ward Police mobilized maximum force and members of the Security and Order Protection Team at the grassroots level to support people in implementing measures to ensure safety and minimize damage caused by natural disasters and storms./.
