According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, in June this year, implementing the direction of the province, the Department issued a document strictly prohibiting all activities of sand and gravel mining on riverbeds and riverbanks during the flood season from June 15 to October 31 to ensure the safety of the dykes.
In the coming time, the Department will continue to urge communes and wards with rivers passing through to strengthen inspection and strictly handle violations in sand and gravel exploitation on riverbeds.
