Instructions for developing a price plan for collection, transportation and treatment of domestic solid waste in Hai Phong

Hai Phong Department of Agriculture and Environment guides localities and units on pricing plans for collection, transportation, treatment of domestic solid waste and public sanitation services in the city.

On October 16, the Department of Agriculture and Environment held a conference to guide the development of a price plan for collection, transportation, and treatment of solid waste and public sanitation services in Hai Phong city to localities, businesses, and waste collection, transportation, and treatment units in the city.

More than 200 delegates representing 114 communes, wards, and special zones; representatives of enterprises, cooperatives; teams and units providing services for collection, transportation, and treatment of domestic solid waste and public sanitation in the city attended.

Delegates were informed, communicated and disseminated many related decisions and contents by experts from the Institute of Construction Economics ( Ministry of Construction ) and representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Environment.

Including instructions for owners of domestic solid waste treatment facilities invested with enterprise capital to review and develop technical processes and economic and technical norms as a basis for developing pricing plans; instructions for public service providers to develop pricing plans for collection, transportation, treatment of domestic solid waste, and public sanitation services in Hai Phong city...

Hai Phong City currently has 36 units collecting, transporting, and treating waste, along with a number of cooperatives and waste collection and transport teams in localities.

At the conference, localities and units discussed and reflected on difficulties, inadequacies and problems in the process of making plans for prices of collection, transportation and treatment of domestic solid waste and public sanitation services, and received advice from experts to ensure proper implementation of regulations.
