Over the past 12 hours, the water level on the Cam Ly River has shown a slow downward trend, while the Da Nhim River remains around the high warning level. At Thanh Binh station, the measured water level is 832.6m, about 0.4m lower than warning level III. At Dai Ninh station, the water level reached 831.56m, about 0.06m higher than warning level III.
It is forecasted that in the afternoon and evening of November 18, the water level of Cam Ly River will continue to decrease, likely to fall below alert level II by about 0.5m. The Da Nhim River in Dai Ninh is forecast to remain at approximately alert level III. From the night of November 18 to the morning of November 19, the water level on both rivers may decrease further, however, the risk of flash floods and landslides still exists if heavy rains occur in the upstream areas.
Lam Dong Province Hydrometeorological Station warns of the risk of flooding in low-lying areas, especially in the streamside areas of the upper Cam Ly River. The risk of landslides, slopes and taluys has also been recorded in many areas such as: Nam Ban Lam Ha, Nam Ha Lam Ha, Kim Phat, Phu An (Duc Trong), Tan Hoi and Dinh Trang Thuong.

Over the past 24 hours, the offshore area of Lam Dong province (including Phu Quy Special Zone) has experienced showers, thunderstorms, and northeast winds of level 5-6, with rough seas. It is forecasted that during the day and night of November 18, this area will continue to experience showers and thunderstorms; northeast winds will remain at level 5-6, gusting to level 7. Wave heights will range from 2-3m. Coastal areas will experience winds of level 4-5, sometimes strong to level 6; waves of 1-2m, with slightly rough seas. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.
During the day and night of November 19, the sea weather will become more complicated with strong northeast winds of level 5-6, gusting to level 7-8; rough seas, waves 2-4m high. Lam Dong Provincial Hydrometeorological Station assessed this as a natural disaster risk situation due to strong winds at sea at level 2. Boats, especially offshore fishing vessels, should limit going to sea and regularly update weather reports.

Aquaculture and fishing activities at sea are also warned to be at risk of being affected by big waves and strong winds. Coastal areas in communes and wards in the province and Phu Quy Special Zone need to proactively take measures to prevent coastal erosion and reinforce coastal structures during high tides and big waves.
