
Attending the signing ceremony were Mr. Jeon Byoung Hun, Vice President of Wonkwang University; Mr. Lee Jung Han, Director of Oriental Medicine Hospital and doctors in the delegation. On behalf of Lam Dong Health Department, there were Ms. Huynh Thi Phuong Duyen, Director of Lam Dong Department of Health; leaders of Lam Dong Rehabilitation Hospital and Da Lat Regional Medical Center.

At the ceremony, Ms. Huynh Thi Phuong Duyen, Director of Lam Dong Department of Health, said that the Oriental Medicine Hospital - Wonkwang University (Korea) has had a close cooperation process with Da Lat Regional Health Center in the field of traditional medicine since 2018. The expansion of cooperation to Lam Dong Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital aims to continue to maintain, consolidate and strengthen the friendly relationship between the Oriental Medicine Hospital - Wonkwang University and Lam Dong province, aiming to better serve the medical examination and treatment needs of the people.

The leaders of the Department of Health expect that in the next 3-year cooperation period (2026 - 2028), the friendly relationship between the Oriental Medicine Hospital - Wonkwang University (Korea) with Lam Dong province in general and the health sector, the Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital in particular will continue to be strengthened and developed. Thereby, many patients will have the opportunity to access advanced Oriental Medicine and Rehabilitation examination and treatment methods; at the same time, the medical staff will have their professional qualifications improved, contributing to improving the quality of health care for people in Lam Dong province.
Mr. Jeon Byoung Hun, Vice President of Wonkwang University, said that during this working trip to Lam Dong, in addition to signing a cooperation agreement with the Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital, the delegation also signed a cooperation program with Yersin University of Dalat to promote training and development in the field of Oriental medicine.

Mr. Lee Jung Han, Director of the Oriental Medicine Hospital - Wonkwang University, expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation results between the People's Committee of Da Lat City (old) (now Da Lat Regional Medical Center) and Iksan Oriental Medicine Hospital - Wonkwang University of Medicine and Pharmacy (now Wonkwang University Oriental Medicine Hospital). Since the two sides signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Oriental Medicine Cooperation in 2018, the program implemented at the Central General Clinic of Da Lat Regional Medical Center has achieved many practical results such as investment in equipment, support for facilities, exchange of professional experience, medical examination consultation and many patients have been consulted, examined, diagnosed and treated by Korean doctors using Oriental Medicine methods under the cooperation program.

During the program, leaders of Lam Dong Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital and Wonkwang University Oriental Medicine Hospital signed a Memorandum of Understanding on friendly cooperation in the field of examination and treatment of Oriental medicine and rehabilitation.

The cooperation contents include: Effectively operating and supporting facilities and equipment for Lam Dong Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital in the Traditional Medicine - Rehabilitation cooperation program between the two sides; organizing exchange programs, consultations, free medical examinations and treatments in 2026 in Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, Lam Dong Province; implementing exchange programs, learning and exchanging professional experiences between doctors of the two sides.

Ms. Pham Thi Van Anh, Director of Lam Dong Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital, expressed her deep gratitude to the delegation of Wonkwang University Oriental Medicine Hospital, Korea. This cooperation signing is a valuable opportunity for the Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital to approach and learn advanced experiences, and at the same time introduce and share the unique values of Vietnamese traditional medicine.

Through the cooperation agreement, the two sides will promote professional exchanges, share knowledge and clinical experience; coordinate training of high-quality human resources; promote scientific research and apply new techniques to gradually improve the quality of medical examination and treatment services. At the same time, the program also creates conditions for cultural and academic exchange activities, contributing to further strengthening the friendship between Vietnam and Korea.
