The Partnership for Green Growth and the 2030 Global Goals (P4G) high-level forum was formed in 2017 based on an initiative by the Danish government, formerly known as the Global Green Growth Forum (3GF). To date, the P4G forum has 12 member countries, including Denmark, Chile, Mexico, Vietnam, South Korea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Colombia, the Netherlands, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and South Africa, along with the participation of over 90 countries, international organizations, and businesses.
The P4G is considered the world's leading forum for promoting public-private partnerships, connecting governments, businesses, and socio-political organizations to jointly develop groundbreaking solutions for green growth, contributing to the achievement of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). P4G's support for partner countries is primarily through public-private partnerships, providing financial and technical assistance to small and micro enterprises to implement climate change adaptation activities.
The most important activity of P4G is its summit, held every two years. To date, there have been three P4G Summits: one in Denmark in 2018, one online in South Korea in 2021, and one in Colombia in 2023. Vietnam is one of the seven founding members and an official partner of P4G, and will host the fourth P4G Summit in 2025.
