Establishment of the Council for Appraisal of the Feasibility Study Report of Dinh Khao Bridge Project

Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee Lu Quang Ngoi has just signed a decision to establish a grassroots appraisal council to appraise the Feasibility Study Report of the investment project to build Dinh Khao bridge connecting Vinh Long and Ben Tre provinces under the public-private partnership model.

The Chairman of the Council is the Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province, the Vice Chairman of the Council is the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ben Tre province in charge of economy and the Permanent Vice Chairman of the Council is the Director of the Department of Finance of Vinh Long, the members of the Council are leaders of departments and branches of the two provinces and the People's Committees of Mang Thit district (Vinh Long province), Cho Lach district (Ben Tre province).

The Board is responsible for completing the appraisal report according to regulations to submit to the competent authority for approval. The Board's appraisal report must provide specific comments on each content and propose solutions in case there is any content that is not in agreement or needs to be supplemented or completed; at the same time, there must be clear comments and recommendations according to regulations. If necessary, a consulting unit can be hired to conduct the appraisal work to serve the Board's appraisal.

The 4.3km long Dinh Khao bridge project, with the starting point at the intersection of DT902 in My An commune (Mang Thit district, Vinh Long province), adjacent to the National Highway 57 bypass project (Dinh Khao bridge approach road) and the end point at the intersection with National Highway 57 in Phu Phung commune (Cho Lach district, Ben Tre province), was approved by the Prime Minister on October 8, 2024 with a total investment capital of about 2,971 billion VND, expected to be implemented from 2024-2028.
