Establishment of the Women's Union of the Border Guard Command of An Giang province

On August 20, the An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command held a conference to announce the decision to establish the Women's Union of the Provincial Border Guard Command.

The conference announced and presented the decision of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Border Guard Command of An Giang province to establish the Women's Union of the Border Guard Command of the province; the decision on appointing the executive committee, chairman and vice chairman.

Accordingly, professional military Major Lam Thi Thu Ngan (Head of the Cultural House, Political Department) holds the position of President of the Women's Union; professional military Major Do Nguyen Ngoc Anh (guest house staff, General Staff Department) holds the position of Vice President of the Women's Union.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Le Hoang Viet, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command, requested the Women's Union to focus on reviewing, adjusting and supplementing the women's work program and plan to suit the tasks in the new situation. Propagating, educating and mobilizing female officers and members of the Provincial Border Guard to promote traditions, improve political qualities, train moral qualities, and complete professional tasks well; each officer and member continues to promote the fine traditions of Vietnamese women, strive to overcome difficulties, be proactive and creative, and promote enthusiasm to complete tasks well.

On this occasion, professional military Major Lam Thi Thu Ngan (Head of the Cultural House, Political Department) received a certificate of merit from the Border Guard Command for her outstanding achievements in implementing the program "Women in the army accompany women in the border areas" for the period 2021 - 2025.
