By 2024, Thanh Mien district strives to complete upgrading and renovating nearly 20 km of rural roads. Including 11 km of village and residential area roads, 8.2 km of hamlet roads. These roads are built with cement concrete or asphalt concrete structures with a width of 3.5-7 m. The traffic system is built synchronously with the wastewater drainage system, ensuring the criteria of advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas. The total investment capital of the project is over 48 billion VND. The district supports 10 billion VND; the commune level supports 2.1 billion VND; the rest is mobilized from people's contributions.
