Young people build flower road up to Hon Vuon mountain in Hue

TPO – For the first time on the famous mountain of Hon Vuon ( Hue City), the functional unit coordinated with local union members and youth to plant flowers and trees to build a landscape flower street, towards creating a flower garden on this famous mountain in Hue .

On September 30, the Song Bo Protective Forest Management Board coordinated with the Huong Tra Town Youth Union, Thua Thien-Hue Province (TT-Hue), to launch the Hon Vuon Flower Road project.

The flower road is built on the top of the mountain with a length of about 200m. The upper floor is planted with more than 150 trees with flowers, mainly yellow royal poinciana (lim xet), mixed with yellow royal poinciana, red royal poinciana and purple crape myrtle. The lower floor is planted with sim flowers.

Hon Vuon Mountain is a destination in the top 7 Impressive Vietnam in 2022. The mountain is about 300 meters above sea level, located in Huong Chu and Huong Xuan wards (Huong Tra town) and Huong Ho ward (Hue city).

Hon Vuon Mountain is about 20km from the center of Hue City, about 5km from Hue bypass, visitors can explore the mountain by many means such as cars, motorbikes, bicycles and even on foot. From the top of the mountain, you can see Thuan An seaport, covering the entire center of Hue city with castles, golden palaces and the poetic Huong River.

Hon Vuon is a scenic spot currently protected and ecologically restored by the people and youth union members of Thua Thien-Hue.

With its beautiful landscape, this place has always been visited by many generations of literati and nature lovers. Currently, with convenient transportation, Hon Vuon has become an attractive tourist destination, attracting many climbers, especially young people and domestic and foreign visitors who want to experience and explore this famous mountain.

According to the leader of the Song Bo Protective Forest Management Board, the project was built on Hon Vuon mountain to create a green park, a beautiful flower street, creating a unique highlight for Hue people and tourists to enjoy and admire directly or from afar.

Young people join hands to create a greener environment for Hon Vuon.

“This green space will be a place for camping, environmental education playgrounds… contributing to building Huong Tra town and Thua Thien-Hue into a bright, green, clean, beautiful, safe, livable place in the country”, the leader of the Song Bo Protective Forest Management Board hopes.
