Da Nang City continues to lead the ICT Index rankings.

NDO – 2024 marks the 14th consecutive year that Da Nang city has topped the ICT Index ranking. This is a significant achievement by the Da Nang city government in developing infrastructure and applying information technology to operations and connecting digital infrastructure.

According to the report on the component indicators of the ICT Index 2023, compiled by the Department of Information and Communications Technology Industry ( Ministry of Information and Communications ) in collaboration with the Vietnam Informatics Association, Da Nang city's indicators are as follows: Technical infrastructure index 0.7908 points (ranked 2nd out of 63 provinces and cities); Human resource infrastructure index 0.7892 points (ranked 2nd out of 63); Information technology application index 0.9655 points (ranked 1st out of 63).

With a score of 0.8485, Da Nang city continues to top the ranking of the Vietnam Information and Communication Technology Readiness Index (ICT Index).

In Da Nang City's technical infrastructure index, the socio-technical infrastructure index is 0.7915 points (3/63 provinces and cities) and the technical infrastructure-government agency index is 0.7901 points (2/63 provinces and cities).

Following closely behind on the 2023 ICT Index ranking are Can Tho (0.6881 points), Quang Ninh (0.6514 points), and Bac Ninh (0.664 points). At the bottom of the list is Phu Yen with only 0.1993 points.

The annual ICT Index report provides assessments and rankings of readiness for the development and application of information and communication technology based on data collected from various sectors: ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies; provinces and centrally-administered cities; economic groups, corporations, and commercial banks.
