Discussing the preparation contents for the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union

On November 14, in Hanoi , the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, 12th tenure, held its 16th Conference. The conference focused on discussing and giving opinions on the contents of preparations for the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union.

In his opening speech, Party Central Committee member and President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang said that this conference focused on discussing and giving opinions on the contents of preparations for the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union: Draft (2nd time) of the Review Report of the Executive Committee of the 12th General Confederation of Labor to be submitted to the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union; Draft (5th time) of the Report of the Executive Committee of the 12th General Confederation of Labor at the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union; Report summarizing recommendations of union members, workers and trade union organizations to the Party, National Assembly and Government at the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union; Summary report of the Program "Building strong enough resources to meet the tasks of trade union organizations in the new situation"...

Regarding the draft (5th time) Report of the Executive Committee of the 12th General Confederation of Labor at the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang suggested that the conference focus on research and discussion, especially the contents related to the report title; results of the implementation of the Resolution of the 12th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union; goals, targets, breakthroughs, tasks, solutions for the 2023 - 2028 term... Based on the discussion results, the Document Subcommittee will absorb and complete the draft to prepare for submission for comments at the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union.

The President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized that the report synthesizing the recommendations of union members, workers and trade unions to the Party, the National Assembly and the Government at the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor is one of the important contents at the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The report was synthesized and built on the basis of more than 400 proposals and recommendations through the congresses of trade unions of provinces and sectors, which are the major contents that union members, workers and trade unions at all levels sent to the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

The President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requested delegates to give their opinions to reach a consensus on the summary of the Program "Building strong enough resources to meet the requirements and tasks of trade union organizations in the new situation". Opinions should focus on the goals, targets, and tasks set out in the program; the shortcomings, limitations, causes, and tasks and solutions in the coming time...

The content of the agenda of this Executive Committee Conference are all very important issues directly related to the organization of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang suggested that delegates promote a high sense of responsibility, concentrate their intelligence, research, and discuss to contribute ideas to the draft documents presented at the conference. The good preparation of this Executive Committee Conference on the above contents will contribute significantly to the success of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union.
