On May 29th, Ho Chi Minh City Book Publishing Joint Stock Company (FAHASA) officially opened the FAHASA Tan Dong Hiep Bookstore on the 2nd floor of Vincom Plaza Di An. A highlight of the bookstore is its open-plan, modern reading experience area with many relaxing seating areas for children and parents.

This space will regularly host author meet-and-greets, creative workshops, statue painting, model assembly, product experiences, and many other playgrounds for children during the summer.

According to FAHASA representatives, the new model not only meets the needs of book shopping but also aims to build a friendly cultural destination where children can read, play, explore knowledge, and capture memorable check-in moments with their families.

The bookstore currently displays over 30,000 Vietnamese and foreign language books, along with approximately 40,000 stationery items, school supplies, children's toys, souvenirs, and cultural products imported from various domestic and international publishers and brands.

This summer, FAHASA has invested heavily in themed exhibition areas catering to children and students, such as: "I Love Vietnamese History," "Life Skills for Children," "Learning to Manage Money," " The World of Stickers," "Summer Review with Children," etc., contributing to a vibrant book space for various age groups.

Many popular book series and box sets are also featured at the bookstore, such as: Nguyen Nhat Anh's works, Harry Potter, Naruto, Magic Kaito, Assassination Classroom, Anne of Green Gables, and My Sweet Orange Tree. These are all books that have been widely loved by young people and families recently.

Alongside the opening of the new bookstore, FAHASA is also launching its 2026 summer activities across the entire system with the theme "FAHASA - Summer Rendezvous," running from May to September 2026. A series of interactive programs, book fairs, creative workshops, and experiential events will be continuously organized at numerous bookstores nationwide.

Highlights include a meet-and-greet and autograph session with author Nguyen Nhat Anh; the Manga Fest 2026 series of events for the community who love Japanese culture; cosplay activities, photo opportunities, figure and collectible toy experiences; and model-making workshops for children and young people.

In particular, the launch event for the new Pokémon collection, scheduled for June 25th at FAHASA Tan Dinh Bookstore, is expected to attract a large number of children and families with various activities including Pikachu mascot interaction, mini-games, and attractive gifts.

To celebrate the grand opening of FAHASA Tan Dong Hiep Bookstore, from May 22nd to 31st, 2026, customers will enjoy many promotional programs with discounts from 10% to 50% on thousands of books, stationery, children's toys, and souvenirs. Customers who purchase goods worth 300,000 VND or more will also receive attractive gifts.

FAHASA is also implementing many community programs this summer. The company plans to donate 50 bookshelves to schools nationwide with a total cost of approximately 4 billion VND, and also donate thousands of gifts, notebooks, and school supplies to students in difficult circumstances.
