Accordingly, the Ministry of Education and Training has issued Decision No. 1469, approving the joint organization of IELTS certification exams between British Council Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City Foreign Language and Information Technology Center and British Council (UK).
Those who need to take the IELTS English test and get a certificate will have an additional test location at 94 Tran Quang Khai Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, which is the second facility of the Foreign Language and Information Technology Center, under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training. The test format is paper-based and computer-based.

Exam papers, exam registration process, exam organization process, facilities, equipment for organizing the exam, ensuring security, safety, and confidentiality before, during, and after the exam. The staff, technicians, and employees of the parties participating in organizing the exam must comply with the regulations of the British Council and Vietnamese law.
Exam fees and other fees will be implemented according to current regulations of Vietnam's price law.
The term of the association between the parties will last for 5 years.
Ms. Dang Thi Thuy Ai, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Foreign Language and Information Technology Center, informed that the IELTS certification exam will start from August 20. The exam schedule has been updated at: http://dangkythi.ttngoaingutinhoc.hcm.edu.vn/ .
The Ministry of Education and Training also requires the parties to comply with Vietnamese laws, commitments, and plans to ensure cooperation in organizing foreign language proficiency exams according to Government regulations.
