Cao Thi Nhu Y: Loves Korean, loves 'boxing' and dreams of winning a Korean Study Abroad Scholarship
As a student majoring in Korean Language, Cao Thi Nhu Y received the GKS Scholarship for the Korean Language Exchange Program at Dong-A University. This is the result of careful preparation and constant efforts of the pretty little girl with a deep love for the Korean Language.

When choosing to study Korean Language at Duy Tan University, Cao Thi Nhu Y understood that learning a foreign language is not simply mastering grammar or vocabulary, but also a journey to explore culture and people, thereby broadening her perspective on the world. Nhu Y set a very clear goal: to be fluent in Korean, achieve high TOPIK standards, and more importantly, to 'turn' foreign language skills into the 'key' to open up international study and work opportunities. From here, Nhu Y has excellently won the Korean Government Scholarship, opening up opportunities to continue in-depth research on Korean language and culture, while expanding her life experience in the country she has always loved.
Như Ý believes that she was very lucky to have received support and companionship from her teachers throughout her studies and scholarship application process. She expressed her deep gratitude to her respected 'guides': " During the entire process of preparing the application, the teachers enthusiastically supported her from document orientation, document editing, interview practice to sharing valuable experiences about studying and living in Korea. The patience, enthusiasm, dedication and spirit of always encouraging students to learn of the teachers at Duy Tan University are a great source of motivation that helps me always try my best every day ."
For Nhu Y, the GKS Scholarship is not only a financial support for all tuition and living expenses in Korea, but also a door that opens the door to experience an interesting education and life in Korea. She plans to focus on improving her Korean language proficiency to achieve TOPIK level 4 or higher, while participating in clubs, international exchange activities and deeply experiencing Korean culture, cuisine and people.
Behind the image of a gentle girl with a dewy smile, Nhu Y surprised many people when she revealed her hobby of... 'boxing'. " Hours of training with boxing gloves and punching bags are not only the best way to train for health but also help me relieve mental stress. I find that 'boxing' is not simply a combat sport but also a 'teacher' who teaches me many things. Each punch, each dodge on the training floor is a lesson in staying calm under pressure, perseverance, the ability to concentrate and the spirit of never giving up .", Nhu Y shared.
In the near future, Nhu Y cherishes the goal of becoming a professional Korean Interpreter and Translator, and at the same time participating in educational and cultural cooperation projects between Vietnam and Korea. The dynamic student always believes that foreign languages are 'bridges' and Korean Interpreters and Translators are contributing to erasing language boundaries to bring people of the two countries closer together.
