On the morning of August 31st, the student brass band from Vo Thanh Trang Secondary School (Ho Chi Minh City) gave an emotionally charged performance at the statue of King Ly Thai To ( Hanoi ) to celebrate National Day on September 2nd.
Vo Thanh Trang Secondary School stated that this is one of the community art activities included in the national exhibition program "80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness".
In the sacred space beside Ho Guom Lake - a place associated with the thousand-year-old cultural heritage of Thang Long - Hanoi, the sound of the students' trumpets resonated majestically and solemnly.

Here, the students presented a diverse range of performances, from stirring revolutionary songs paying tribute to the past, familiar traditional folk melodies, to youthful, modern, and energetic songs.

Those melodies resonated with thousands of spectators present in the pedestrian area around Ho Guom Lake on the morning of August 31st, creating an atmosphere that was both solemn and joyful, contributing to igniting national pride during the country's major holidays.
This is the first time 100 students from Ho Chi Minh City, aged 11-15, have performed on a large outdoor stage in the heart of the capital, directly entertaining a large audience of locals and international tourists.

"For the teachers and students of Vo Thanh Trang Secondary School, performing at Hoan Kiem Lake is a special occasion. Music at this moment is not only art, but also a remembrance and tribute to the generations of ancestors who sacrificed for national independence."

"At the same time, it serves as a reminder to today's young generation of their responsibility to preserve and promote traditions. The enthusiastic support from the public has given us strength, making each trumpet blast more vibrant and full of emotion than ever before," - Vo Thanh Trang Secondary School informed after the performance.
Afterward, the procession continued around Hoan Kiem Lake (Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi) and concluded its journey at the "Fight to the Death for the Survival of the Fatherland" monument.

According to the school, this trip to the capital city provided many valuable experiences for the teachers, students, and the performing music group. It was an opportunity for the students not only to showcase their artistic talents but also to experience the sacred atmosphere of Hanoi, a city with a thousand years of history and culture, coinciding with the national celebration of National Day.
