Disciplinary action against Secretary of Luong Tai District Party Committee Le Tuan Hong

The Office of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee has just issued a press release on the 2nd meeting of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee in February 2024.

According to the content of the Press Release, the Standing Committee of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee has just held the second meeting in February 2024 to listen and give opinions on 6 contents under its authority.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Ninh province chaired the conference. Attending the conference were representatives of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; representatives of leaders of a number of Central Party agencies monitoring the province; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and a number of relevant departments, agencies and branches.

At the Conference, after listening to the Inspection Team according to Decision No. 902-QD/TU reporting the results of the inspection of Party members when there were signs of violations, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee found that: Mr. Le Tuan Hong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Luong Tai District Party Committee when holding the position of Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Gia Binh District People's Committee (from July 2011 to June 2014), Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Gia Binh District People's Committee (from July 2014 to August 2019) had serious violations and shortcomings in land management, causing damage to the State budget, negatively affecting the reputation of the Party organization and individuals.

Considering the content, nature, level, consequences, and causes of the violation; based on Party regulations, the Provincial Party Standing Committee voted to discipline Mr. Le Tuan Hong with a Warning.

Concluding the Conference, the Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee requested units to tighten discipline, administrative discipline, public ethics, and uphold the responsibility of setting an example for leaders...

It is known that Mr. Le Tuan Hong held the position of Vice Chairman of Gia Binh District People's Committee from July 2011 to June 2014. Chairman of Gia Binh District People's Committee from July 2014 to August 2019.

In September 2019, Mr. Hong was transferred and appointed to the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Luong Tai district. From January 2021 to present, Mr. Hong has held the position of Secretary of the Luong Tai District Party Committee for the 22nd term, 2020 - 2025.
