The short music film project "Controversy" has been officially introduced to the public, marking a new step for Ngoc Khue - who is both the singer and the producer, released by the entertainment company she co-founded with Huy Ngo.

With its action-comedy elements, "Scandal" explores the realities of modern urban life, where the lines between right and wrong, truth and falsehood become blurred. The film uses music as a central narrative thread, combining it with cinematic language to create a multi-layered, emotionally rich experience while reflecting contemporary social issues.
The music section of "Scandal" is structured as a standalone EP, accompanying the journey of the dragonfly agent character played by Ngoc Khue. The three songs correspond to three psychological stages: choice - confrontation - letting go: "My Choice Is Always You" opens the story with the conflict between reason and emotion. "Scandal" heightens the energy, reflecting the whirlwind of prejudice and public opinion. "Life Partner" concludes the journey with release, moving towards love and hope.
The entire sound design is produced using Dolby Atmos technology, delivering a multi-dimensional spatial experience – a relatively new approach for music and film projects in Vietnam today.

Besides the musical element, "Thi Phi" also features the participation of many renowned artists such as People's Artist Lan Huong, Meritorious Artist Minh Vuong, Meritorious Artist Do Ky, and Meritorious Artist Ho Phong.
The film is set in an old apartment complex in the heart of the city, where ordinary people carry their own stories, contributing to a multifaceted picture of modern society – where gossip is not just rumors but also the consequence of choices and prejudices.
Sharing about the production process, Ngoc Khue said that "Thi Phi" (Gossip) is not only an artistic product but also linked to a special personal milestone.
"Since I started my career, I've almost never had a proper music video. So, when I had the opportunity to do this project, my team and I were very determined. The project was conceived when I was pregnant with Dino, and we started filming when he was 4 months old," the singer shared.

According to her, the creative process inevitably involves debates, even tension, as each person has their own perspective. However, that's also how the team finds the optimal direction for the product.
"There were times when we argued quite intensely, but in the end we always found common ground. I think that's necessary to perfect a good product," she said.
One memorable aspect of the making of "Controversy" was the companionship of the singer's son, Dino.
"At the time of filming, my baby was only 4 months old but still came to the set with me. Luckily, she was very cooperative, eating and sleeping on time, so it didn't affect the crew much. That's a memory I will always cherish," Ngoc Khue recounted.
Looking ahead, the singer said she and her collaborators will continue to pursue a collaboration between music and film.
