On the evening of July 25, the music night Time Stream - Songs that go with the years, July issue with the theme My Childhood Homeland took place in Hanoi and was broadcast live on Hanoi Radio and Television.

Participating in the music night are young artists who have made their mark at Hanoi Singing Voice 2024 such as Moc An - Champion of Hanoi Singing Voice 2024, Chou Tu Ngoc - Runner-up of light music, Ninh Trinh Quang Minh - First prize of light music. Besides, there is the participation of many artists such as: Vy Anh, Bich Ngoc, Khanh Chi, Nam Giang, Thu Thuy.
The program also features the participation of many professional artists such as: Cellist Bui Ha Mien, pianist Bui Dang Khanh, flute artist Hong Anh, saxophone artist Le Duy Manh, guitarist Xuan Thinh... with a combination of academic and contemporary music.

The concert opened with the piece Childhood Memories (composed by Nguyen Huu Tuan), performed by the Time Stream Orchestra with pianist Bui Dang Khanh and cellist Bui Ha Mien. The opening sounds placed the audience in a quiet and profound space, opening up a musical journey to childhood.
Part I of the program, entitled Childhood Memories, recreates images and sounds that have been associated with many generations. Opening with a short report about Vinh Cat land, followed by the song Reo vang binh minh, performed by Vy Anh, Sao tuoi tho club and Dong thoi gian orchestra, the audience seemed to return to the pure, clear mornings of childhood.

Immediately after that, the song Em di giu bien vang appeared with 2 versions. First was the vocal version performed by singer Bich Ngoc with the Hanoi Tre dance troupe, followed by the instrumental version, arranged in a symphonic style with the performance of pianist Bui Dang Khanh and flute artist Hong Anh - creating a different, more sophisticated perspective for the familiar work.
Next is Bringing rice to mother who plows (composed by Han Ngoc Bich) performed by Khanh Chi with saxophone solo by artist Le Duy Manh and guitar by artist Xuan Thinh, evoking the simple, familiar image of the countryside.
The next series of performances such as: Going to school (poem by Hoang Minh Chinh, composed by Bui Dinh Thao) was arranged according to 2 arrangements, a traditional version performed by Nam Giang with the Sao Tuoi Tho Club, a swing jazz version performed by Ninh Trinh Quang Minh. All created a dialogue between nostalgia and modernity on the same stage.

The song “Hat gao lang ta” , a work associated with many generations of students, was also staged in two parallel versions. The singing version was performed by Bich Ngoc with children and an orchestra, the jazz version was performed by Chou Tu Ngoc with pianist Bui Dang Khanh and saxophonist Le Duy Manh.
Not just a simple music night, the program also incorporates documentary reports about author Hoang Minh Chinh, the circumstances of the birth of the poem Going to School, the portrait of poet Tran Dang Khoa and the journey of composing Hat Gao Lang Ta … The films are skillfully staged, contributing to creating a seamless, profound and emotional flow of memories.
Part II, titled The Countryside in Memory , opens with My Childhood Homeland (composed by Tu Huy) performed by Thu Thuy, recalling familiar images such as the river, the communal house roof, the ferry, the banyan tree...

The song Giac Mo Noon (composed by Giang Son) is performed in instrumental form with a cello performance by artist Bui Ha Mien, creating a vague, familiar feeling like a childhood dream.
Next are the songs My Hometown (composed by Anh Minh), I See Yellow Flowers on the Green Grass (composed by Chau Dang Khoa) and Old Memories (composed by Xuan Phuong), respectively depicting memories of the homeland.
From the intimacy of the Vietnamese countryside to the gentle emotions of school age, the program ended with a choir performance combined with dance with the participation of many artists...
