Mr. Tran Van Nhan - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Go Dau town said that in order to build a locality that meets civilized urban standards, the Party Committee has implemented many specific solutions, focusing on propaganda and mobilization work, gradually changing awareness, raising the responsibility of each person in the area in building a civilized urban lifestyle, complying with regulations on urban order, construction order, ensuring traffic safety and creating beauty in behavioral culture.

The organizations promote propaganda to members, union members, and people to carry out economic restructuring, preserve and promote national cultural identity, build cultural and artistic clubs in the neighborhood; improve the quality of building cultural families and cultural neighborhoods; build cultural and sports movements; comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and local regulations... As a result, the Town has achieved 5/5 civilized urban standards.

In addition, the Town People's Committee also directed the neighborhoods to organize and launch movements, propagate to each resident and family to seriously maintain environmental hygiene, not to litter on the streets and public places, and to build green and clean roads. Integrate the emulation movement to protect the environment "clean house, clean alley, clean road" with the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas". In particular, focus on promoting the exemplary and pioneering role of cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees in implementing civilized urban criteria.

The Chairman of the Town People's Committee said that the Town has a natural area of over 600 hectares, with over 6,400 households, over 27,260 people, and an average income per capita higher than the average income per capita of the province; 7/7 neighborhoods have achieved the title of cultural neighborhood. Most of the people's houses and public works are built according to the plan, there are no temporary houses or dilapidated houses. The Town has 23 asphalted roads, 103 cemented roads, and the main roads in the area have lighting and trees to ensure the travel needs of the people.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tui, resident of Thanh Binh C quarter, said that the locality launched a campaign to build a Town that meets civilized urban standards. Recently, her family and other households in the quarter have actively responded, especially the environmental protection movement. People are aware of the need to dispose of household waste in the right place and use clean water sources. Local people have also actively contributed money and labor to the local government to install lighting systems on traffic routes, contributing to maintaining security and order.

According to Mr. Pham Van Ri, residing in Thanh Binh B quarter, realizing that building urban civilization is a common responsibility, each family in the quarter strictly follows the regulations on organizing funerals and weddings, focusing on self-maintaining public hygiene from home to alley. Up to now, the appearance of the town has changed a lot, not only in terms of infrastructure such as electricity, roads, schools, and stations that have been invested in and built, helping the urban landscape become more prosperous and environmental sanitation is ensured. In addition, the living standards of local people are increasingly developing. "As a resident in the area, seeing the place where you live meet the standards of a civilized urban area is the joy and pride of the people" - Mr. Ri shared.

Towards building a district that meets new rural standards

Mr. Tran Van Nhan - Chairman of the Town People's Committee said that one of the solutions that the locality has promoted is to continue to propagate and mobilize officials and people to deeply understand the construction of civilized urban areas, continue to maintain and improve the quality of criteria and standards, and at the same time review and compare the criteria that are still low compared to the prescribed standards to focus on directing the implementation and completion.

The less difficult and conditional criteria will be selected to be implemented first, the remaining criteria will mobilize the entire political system, resources from the budget and socialization to focus on investment, especially in infrastructure, rectification, creating a green, clean and beautiful environment; constantly caring for the material and spiritual life of all classes of people in the community, consolidating and building the great national unity bloc; focusing all resources to call on investors and businesses to invest in the Town, contributing to solving jobs for local workers; focusing on training cadres who are good at professional expertise, have solid political theory, and meet the immediate and long-term requirements of tasks.

Mr. Phan The Huy - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Go Dau district said that by the end of 2023, the district will achieve 3 conditions: 10% of communes will achieve advanced new rural standards; 100% of towns in the area will meet civilized urban standards; the satisfaction rate of local people with new rural results will reach 90% or more.

There are 2 unfinished conditions including: 100% of communes must meet new rural standards for the 2021-2025 period and the district must meet 9 criteria including 36 new rural district indicators for the 2021-2025 period.

The efforts of the Party Committee, government and people of Go Dau town in building and developing the economy and society have contributed to creating a new look for a dynamic, creative land that is on the rise, which is also an important premise to help the town continue to promote its position as the economic, political and cultural center of the district, contributing with the entire Party, people and army in the district to build Go Dau increasingly rich, civilized and modern.
