Of these, passenger cars still accounted for the largest share with 27,246 units (a 33% increase compared to the previous month), commercial vehicles reached 10,162 units (a 6.6% increase), and specialized vehicles reached 502 units (a 15% increase).
Similar to previous months, fully imported vehicles continued to dominate with 20,781 units sold (up 28%), while domestically assembled vehicles reached 17,129 units (up 19%).

Overall, in the first 10 months of 2025, VAMA's total car sales reached 289,331 vehicles, an increase of 9.5% compared to the same period in 2024. Of these, passenger cars accounted for 202,204 units (an increase of 2%), commercial vehicles for 83,613 units (an increase of 31%), and specialized vehicles for 3,514 units (an increase of 76%).
The SUV segment continued to assert its leading position with 8,901 units sold. Meanwhile, sedans only sold 4,132 units, further shrinking their market share. This partly reflects the shift in demand from low-ground-clearance vehicles to a preference for high-ground-clearance models. The MPV segment alone recorded 6,216 units sold.
In October, Toyota continued to lead among brands in Vietnam with 7,768 vehicles sold (an 11% increase compared to September). However, Honda had the most impressive sales growth at 94%, delivering a total of 3,314 vehicles to customers.
