Of which, passenger cars still accounted for the largest proportion with 27,246 units (up 33% compared to the previous month), commercial vehicles reached 10,162 units (up 6.6%) and specialized vehicles reached 502 units (up 15%).
Similar to previous months, imported cars continued to dominate with 20,781 units sold (up 28%), while domestically assembled cars reached 17,129 units (up 19%).

In the first 10 months of 2025, VAMA's total automobile sales reached 289,331 vehicles, an increase of 9.5% over the same period in 2024. Of which, passenger cars reached 202,204 units (up 2%), commercial vehicles reached 83,613 units (up 31%) and specialized vehicles reached 3,514 units (up 76%).
The SUV segment continued to assert its leading position with 8,901 units sold. Meanwhile, sedans sold only 4,132 units, continuing to shrink in market share. This partly reflects the demand for switching from low-chassis vehicles to high-chassis models. The MPV segment alone recorded 6,216 units sold.
In October, Toyota still led the brands in Vietnam with 7,768 cars sold (up 11% compared to September). However, Honda had the most impressive sales growth of 94%, reaching a total of 3,314 cars delivered to customers.
