According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the day and night of July 29, areas across the country will continue to be affected by heat waves, with some places experiencing severe heat.

There is a possibility of showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night, especially in the Central, Central Highlands and Southern regions. Warning of the risk of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting also stated that on the day and night of July 29, in the Central Highlands and the South, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy rain (15-30mm, some places experiencing over 60mm) - the rain will be concentrated in the afternoon and evening.

Hanoi capital

- Hot sunny days, some places very hot; no rain at night. Light wind.

- Lowest temperature from 26-28 degrees Celsius, highest 36-38 degrees Celsius.

Northwest

- Hot and sunny during the day, with some places experiencing intense heat; showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night. Light winds. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

- Lowest temperature from 24-27 degrees Celsius, some places below 23 degrees Celsius; highest 34-37 degrees Celsius, some places above 37 degrees Celsius.

Northeast

- Hot and sunny during the day, with some places experiencing intense heat; showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night. Light winds. During thunderstorms, beware of the possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

- Lowest temperature from 25-28 degrees Celsius; highest 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places above 37 degrees Celsius.

Provinces from Thanh Hoa to Hue

- Sunny day, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An are hot, some places are very hot; in the evening and at night there are showers and thunderstorms in some places. Light wind. During thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

- Lowest temperature 25-28 degrees Celsius; highest: 31-34 degrees Celsius, some places above 34 degrees Celsius; Thanh Hoa and Nghe An 35-37 degrees Celsius.

South Central Coast Region

- Hot and sunny during the day, with some places experiencing intense heat; showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night. Southwest wind level 2-3. Thunderstorms are likely to bring tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

- The lowest temperature ranges from 26-29 degrees Celsius; the highest is 33-36 degrees Celsius, some places are above 36 degrees Celsius.

Central Highlands region

- There will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places; scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, with some heavy rain in some places. Southwest wind level 2-3. Beware of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind in thunderstorms.

- Lowest temperature 21-24 degrees Celsius; highest 26-29 degrees Celsius, some places over 30 degrees Celsius.

Southern provinces

- There will be showers and thunderstorms in some places; in the afternoon and evening there will be showers and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain in some places. Southwest wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

- Lowest temperature 23-26 degrees Celsius; highest: 29-32 degrees Celsius.

Ho Chi Minh City Area

- There will be showers and thunderstorms in some places; in the afternoon and evening there will be showers and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain in some places. Southwest wind level 2-3. Warning of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind in thunderstorms. Lowest temperature 24-26 degrees Celsius; highest 30-32 degrees Celsius.

Weather at sea day and night July 29, North and central East Sea (including Hoang Sa special zone) strong southwest wind level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting level 8-9; rough sea; waves 3.0-5.0m high.

The sea area from Gia Lai to Ho Chi Minh City has strong southwest wind level 6, gusting to level 7-8; rough sea; waves 2.0-4.0m high. The North East Sea area, the sea area from Lam Dong to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to An Giang and the Gulf of Thailand have scattered showers and thunderstorms. Warning of the possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind level 7-8 during thunderstorms.
