Accordingly, the delegation presented each unit with a gift worth 11 million VND from the city's budget (according to Resolution 25/2022/NQ-HDND).
Reporting at the meeting, the Director of Birla Children's Village said that the Village is currently raising and caring for 85 children in difficult circumstances without a place to live. Of these, 65 are children under 16 years old. On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2025, the Village organized a gift giving ceremony for the children, each gift worth 500,000 VND. At the beginning of the new school year, the children were also fully equipped with uniforms, books, and shoes to serve their studies.

At SOS Children's Village, during its 36 years of operation, the Village has nurtured and cared for more than 300 children in special and difficult circumstances. On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Village also organized a full moon festival for children to have fun and give gifts to them. These practical gifts not only bring joy during the holiday, but also show care and sharing for children in special circumstances.
Speaking at the visit and gift-giving ceremony, Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Health Nguyen Dinh Hung acknowledged and commended the efforts of the officers, civil servants, teachers and staff of the 2 Villages in caring for, nurturing and educating children in difficult circumstances.
At the same time, the Deputy Director in charge of the Department emphasized that the Mid-Autumn Festival is an opportunity for the whole society to show its concern and care for children, the future owners of the country. Especially for orphans, disabled children, and children in difficult circumstances, the city always pays special attention to the care, protection and education of children, in order to create the best conditions for children to have more opportunities to study, play, and develop comprehensively both physically and mentally.

Dr. Nguyen Dinh Hung also represented the city to present gifts to children being cared for and raised at Birla Children's Village and SOS Children's Village Hanoi .
It is known that the activity of visiting and giving gifts to children according to Resolution No. 25/2022/NQ-HDND of the City People's Council on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival has been carried out annually by the City in recent years.
On the occasion of this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, on October 2 and 3, the Hanoi Department of Health organized delegations to visit and give gifts to children at the Centers and villages for child care and nurturing under the Department with gifts of 11 million VND/unit, total value of 77 million VND from the city's budget. This shows the city leaders' concern for the children currently being cared for and nurtured at the Centers. It is to encourage and motivate them to overcome their circumstances, complexes, and inferiority to rise up in life./.
