Agree on the policy of developing infrastructure of Industrial Park in Kien Thuy district

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of June 2, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee met to listen to reports and give opinions on a number of contents. Comrade Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation chaired the meeting.

Also attending were comrades: Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee; Do Manh Hien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; representatives of the City People's Committee Party Committee; leaders of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board and related departments, branches and localities.

According to the report of the representative of the Party Committee of the City People's Committee, the investment policy to implement the Ngu Phuc Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Investment Project (Phase 1) has a scale of more than 238 hectares in Ngu Phuc and Kien Quoc communes (Kien Thuy district), with an expected total investment of more than 5,670 billion VND. Regarding the investment policy to implement the Tan Trao Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Investment Project (Phase 1), with a scale of more than 226 hectares in Tan Trao and Kien Quoc communes; the expected total investment is more than 4,000 billion VND. Vinhomes Hai Phong Industrial Park Investment Joint Stock Company is expected to be the investor to implement 2 projects and the implementation period is 5 years, from the second quarter of 2025 to the second quarter of 2030. The goal of the projects is to attract multi-sector investment, create jobs, contribute to industrial development, and promote the city's socio-economic development.

After listening to the reports and opinions of the delegates attending the meeting, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau emphasized: The two projects are in line with the Hai Phong City Planning, the Northern dynamic region, the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh economic corridor; and are part of the Southern Hai Phong Coastal Economic Zone approved by the Prime Minister. The project is conveniently connected to key traffic routes, seaports, airports, creating a premise for the development of ancillary services, linkage chains and easily attracting high-quality human resources. At the same time, priority is given to attracting high-tech, clean technology, environmentally friendly, high value-added industries, in line with the goal of developing green industry and green growth.

The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee agreed on the investment policy to implement the Ngu Phuc Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Investment Project (Phase 1) and the Tan Trao Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Investment Project (Phase 1), and assigned relevant agencies to continue implementing procedures according to regulations./.
