Agree on the project to arrange the People's Council, Office of the National Assembly Delegation and People's Councils of the two provinces of Bac Giang and Bac Ninh

On the afternoon of April 22, the Standing Committee of the People's Council of Bac Giang province coordinated with the Standing Committee of the People's Council of Bac Ninh province to organize a conference to discuss and agree on the Project to rearrange the People's Council, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council. Co-chairing the meeting were comrades: Lam Thi Huong Thanh, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the People's Council of Bac Giang province; Tran Thi Hang, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the People's Council of Bac Ninh province.

Conference Overview

At the meeting, the two sides discussed and exchanged a number of key contents to unify the policy on implementing the arrangement and merger of elected agencies at all levels of the two provinces and the policy mechanism to ensure the operation of the agencies after the merger is synchronized and unified. The Standing Committees of the People's Councils of the two provinces agreed to let the Standing Committee of the People's Council of Bac Giang province preside over the development of the Project on merging elected agencies at all levels of Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces; the Project on establishing the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and People's Council of Bac Ninh province on the basis of merging the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and People's Council of Bac Giang province and the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and People's Council of Bac Ninh province.

Standing Vice Chairwoman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Council Tran Thi Hang agreed with the necessity of reviewing the Resolutions issued by the People's Councils of the two provinces and agreed on the plan to implement the Resolutions after the merger. She requested that Bac Giang province pay attention to some contents to ensure conditions for cadres, civil servants and workers of Bac Ninh province to work with peace of mind.

Speaking at the working session, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Council Lam Thi Huong Thanh requested the National Assembly Delegation and the Standing Committee of the People's Councils of the two provinces to direct the work of arranging and merging elected agencies at all levels to ensure compliance with the regulations and instructions of the Central Government; not to omit the functions and tasks of elected agencies at each level; to inherit and promote the achievements made in the process of construction and development. During the arrangement and merger process, it is necessary to ensure that the agencies operate smoothly and without interruption; and not to affect the socio -economic activities and lives of people and businesses.
