National Assembly Chairman, Chairman of the National Security Council Tran Thanh Man presented flowers to the Vice Chairmen of the National Security Council and members of the National Security Council.
With 100% of the National Assembly delegates participating in the vote in favor, the National Assembly passed a Resolution approving the proposal of the Chairman of the National Election Council (NEC) on the list of Vice Chairmen of the NEC and Members of the NEC. The list of Vice Chairmen of the National Election Council includes:
(1) Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly , is the Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the National Election Council and Head of the Personnel Subcommittee;
(2) Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh, Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister;
(3) Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front;
(4) Ms. Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President.

With 90.59% of delegates in favor, the National Assembly passed the Law on Personal Data Protection (DLCN). This Law takes effect from January 1, 2026. Small businesses and startups have the right to choose whether or not to implement the regulations on preparing impact assessment records, designating departments and personnel to protect DLCN within 5 years from the effective date of this Law and are exempted from implementation for business households and micro-enterprises.
Voting results to pass the National Assembly Resolution on exemption of agricultural land use tax.
In the afternoon, the National Assembly held a plenary session in the hall to carry out the following contents: With 92.68% of delegates in favor, the National Assembly passed a Resolution on extending the exemption period for agricultural land use tax. The Resolution clearly states that the extension of the exemption period for agricultural land use tax is stipulated in Resolution No. 55/2010/QH12 dated November 24, 2010 of the National Assembly on exemption and reduction of agricultural land use tax, which has been amended and supplemented by a number of articles according to Resolution No. 8/2016/QH14 dated November 11, 2016 of the National Assembly and Resolution No. 107/2020/QH14 dated June 10, 2020 of the National Assembly until December 31, 2030. This Resolution takes effect from January 1, 2026.
With 100% of delegates voting in favor, the National Assembly passed the Law on Participation in United Nations Peacekeeping Forces. This law takes effect from January 1, 2026. The law stipulates that May 27 of each year is the traditional day of Vietnamese forces participating in United Nations peacekeeping operations.
With 99.77% of delegates voting in favor, the National Assembly passed a Resolution on exemption and support of tuition fees for preschool children, primary school students, and students of general education programs at educational institutions in the national education system.
With 99.3% of delegates voting in favor, the National Assembly passed the National Assembly Resolution on universalizing preschool education for children from 3 to 5 years old.
Afterwards, the National Assembly discussed in the hall the draft Law on Transfer of Persons Serving Prison Sentences.
