Ninh Quoi Commune Police (Ca Mau Province) confirmed that the information on social media about the kidnapping of a 6-year-old boy is fabricated. The police are verifying and handling the person who posted the false information.

On August 19, the Ninh Quoi Commune Police Command ( Ca Mau Province) said that there was information circulating on Facebook about Nguyen Tuan Khoi (born in 2019) being carried away by a man and a woman in a car, causing public confusion. The post also included a photo of the child and a contact phone number to create trust.

Ninh Quoi Commune Police refuted fabricated information about the child being kidnapped.

Ninh Quoi Commune Police confirmed that this is false information, causing negative effects on public opinion and will verify and handle the person posting false information according to the law.
