According to the Hanoi Center for Disease Control (CDC Hanoi), Hanoi recorded 156 Covid-19 cases and 0 deaths, an increase of one case compared to last week (155/0).

Cumulatively, 388 cases and 0 deaths were recorded in 2025, a decrease in the number of cases compared to the same period in 2024 (652/0). The Covid-19 epidemic has been on the rise in the past 3 weeks, and it is expected that cases will continue to be recorded in the coming time.

Hanoi recorded 2 cases of adult tetanus in Chuong My and Thach That, 0 deaths. In 2025, there were 19 cases and 0 deaths, the number of cases increased compared to the same period in 2024 (8/0).

During the past week (from May 23 to May 30), the entire city recorded 9 cases of dengue fever, 0 deaths; an increase of 4 cases compared to the previous week (5 cases, 0 deaths).

Accumulated from 2025 to present, the city recorded 265 cases of dengue fever, 0 deaths; the number of cases decreased compared to the same period in 2024 (711/0).

Patients were recorded sporadically in 28 districts, towns and cities. During the week, no outbreak was recorded, and in 2025, 1 outbreak was recorded that ended its operation. In the coming time, the number of cases may increase due to the beginning of the months when the disease increases every year.

The city recorded 175 measles cases in 28 districts; 0 deaths; a decrease of 4 cases compared to last week (179/0).

Some units recorded many patients such as: Long Bien (20), Ha Dong (18), Hoang Mai (16), Cau Giay (12), Ba Dinh (11). The number of cases is on a downward trend, mainly in people who have not been vaccinated or have not been fully vaccinated, and it is forecasted that cases will continue to be recorded in the coming time.

Accumulated from 2025 to now, there have been 3,009 measles cases recorded in 30/30 districts, towns, and cities, one death, the number of cases increased compared to the same period in 2024 (1/0).

The city recorded 163 cases of hand, foot and mouth disease in 26 districts, towns and cities; 0 deaths, down 21 cases compared to last week (184/0).

Some districts recorded many patients such as Cau Giay (23), Hoang Mai (16), Nam Tu Liem (16), Thanh Xuan (15), Chuong My (12), Ha Dong (12). According to the Hanoi CDC, the number of cases decreased, mainly sporadic cases, in children under 3 years old (95%), with some outbreaks recorded in kindergartens and the community.

Cumulatively in 2025, there were 2,624 cases of hand, foot and mouth disease, 0 deaths; the number of cases increased compared to the same period in 2024 (1,393/0).

Patients are distributed in 30 districts, towns and cities. During the week, an outbreak was recorded in Dinh Cong, Hoang Mai district with 2 cases. In total, 42 outbreaks were recorded in 2025, with 2 outbreaks still active in Nam Tu Liem and Hoang Mai.

In addition, other epidemics such as meningococcal disease, Japanese encephalitis, and whooping cough were not recorded during the week.

Last week, Hanoi CDC coordinated with units to monitor 9 old dengue outbreaks in 2024.

In the coming time, Hanoi CDC will continue to strengthen medical quarantine work at Noi Bai International Airport, in order to promptly detect suspected/infected cases of epidemics, and apply appropriate and timely epidemic prevention and control measures.
