The phone has a slightly curved back along with two circular cutouts to house the triple camera setup. It comes with an LED flash module in the second circular cutout. The OPPO A98 5G will support a microscope lens with up to 40x magnification.
The front of the phone has fairly thin bezels around the screen, except for the thicker chin. There is a punch-hole cutout in the center of the top bezel to house the selfie camera.
The product features a flat screen, volume buttons on the left side, and the power button on the right. The screen measures 6.72 inches, has FHD resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The device uses a Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, comes with 8GB of RAM, supports 8GB of virtual RAM, and has 256GB of internal storage.
In terms of photography capabilities, the OPPO A98 5G features a 64MP main camera and two 2MP sensors for depth sensing in portrait and macro photography, while the front camera has a resolution of 32MP.
The device runs on Android 13 with the ColorOS 13 user interface and has a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 67W SuperVOOC fast charging.
The device is 8.2 mm thick, weighs 192 grams, and comes in Dreamy Blue and Cool Black color options.
