Binh Thuan : Reclaiming more than 12,000 square meters of land for a project due to termination of investment
The People's Committee of Binh Thuan province has just decided to reclaim 12,389 square meters of land granted to Hong Quang Construction and Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company due to the termination of the investment project.

Specifically, Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh signed Decision No. 098/QD-UBND to reclaim an area of 12,389 m2 of land from Hong Quang Construction and Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company, belonging to land plots No. 12, 17, 51, 55, 59 on sheet No. 286 (221 485 - 1) in Hoa Thang commune, Bac Binh district.
The reason is that the Hong Quang Construction and Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company was terminated by the Department of Planning and Investment in the investment project in Notice No. 3167/TB-SKHĐT dated July 16, 2024. This is a case of land recovery according to the provisions of Point d, Clause 1, Article 82 of the 2024 Land Law.
The People's Committee of Binh Thuan province also assigned the task to agencies and organizations to carry out land recovery and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Thang commune is responsible for handing over this Decision to Hong Quang Construction and Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company.
At the same time, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province also assigned the above-mentioned recovered land area of 12,389 m2 to the Bac Binh District Land Fund Development Center for management according to regulations.
The People's Committee of Binh Thuan province requested Hong Quang Construction and Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company to hand over land and land use right certificates to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment for recovery according to regulations and to fulfill financial obligations for the remaining tax debt.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment announced the revocation of the Land Use Rights Certificate of Hong Quang Construction and Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company and the termination of land lease according to regulations.
The Provincial Tax Department urges Hong Quang Construction and Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company to fulfill its financial obligations for the remaining tax debt.
