During the April 30th - May 1st holiday, Da Nang City welcomed over 1.46 million visitors, a 35% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Revenue from tourism services is estimated at over 5,727 billion VND, an increase of nearly 35%.

On the afternoon of May 3rd, the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that Da Nang's tourism sector had reaped a "bumper crop" during the April 30th - May 1st holiday.

Da Nang city welcomed over 1.46 million tourists during the Hung Kings Commemoration Day holiday (April 30th - May 1st), an increase of over 35% compared to the same period in 2015.

The total number of tourists visiting Da Nang (from April 25th to May 3rd, 2026) is estimated to reach over 1.46 million, a 35% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Of these, international tourists are estimated to reach over 621,000, a 24% increase compared to the same period in 2025.

Accommodation establishments in the city welcomed and served over 724,000 overnight guests, a 31% increase compared to the same period in 2025. The average occupancy rate across the city reached approximately 75-80%; with 4-5 star hotels and equivalent reaching 90-95%.

Total tourism revenue is estimated to reach over 5,727 billion VND, an increase of nearly 35% compared to the same period in 2025.

According to the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, during the Hung Kings Commemoration Day (April 30th - May 1st) this year, the city hosted many attractive political, cultural, sports, and tourism activities and events for residents and tourists.

The highlight is the "Peaceful Homeland" Gala Program and related activities from April 29th to May 3rd, 2026, with the main event being the "Peaceful Homeland" Gala Night along with exhibitions and experiential activities that contribute to spreading cultural and historical values, while promoting the image of Da Nang City as a dynamic and friendly city to a wide audience of residents and tourists.
