Attracting investment in 9 high-tech agricultural projects

According to the Phu Yen High-Tech Agricultural Zone Management Board, the unit has approved the investment policy of 9 projects with a total registered capital of more than 524 billion VND. These are projects to grow sorghum, medicinal herbs, flowers, vegetables, fruits, mushrooms of all kinds, produce organic microbial fertilizers, process agricultural products, food and beverages from agricultural products, and produce high-tech chicken breeds.

6 projects were awarded investment policy decisions at the Agricultural Investment Promotion Conference.

These projects are invested by science and technology organizations including the Center for Research and Development of High-Tech Agriculture (Ho Chi Minh City), the Center for Livestock Breeding in the Central region of the Institute of Animal Husbandry ( Ministry of Agriculture and Environment ) and enterprises with high-tech activities in agriculture.

Creating rare orchid varieties is one of the successful projects of Phu Yen High-Tech Agricultural Zone.

Of the 9 projects above, 2 will be operational from 2024, 1 project is completing construction items and is expected to be put into use by the end of 2025, and 2 projects are preparing to start construction in this fourth quarter.

The remaining projects are coordinating with local authorities to carry out site clearance and land lease procedures according to current law.

The two projects are initially producing products such as edible mushrooms, melons, orchids and various vegetables, helping to create jobs for local workers.
