TPO - From theoretical knowledge and Youth Union work skills to public speaking abilities, the Youth Union leaders in the armed forces of Lang Son province brought many lively and creative performances to the 2026 Excellent Youth Union Cadre and Young Propagandist Competition.

On May 29th, the Lang Son Provincial Military Command organized the 2026 competition for outstanding Youth Union officials and young propagandists with the theme "Youth Union leaders pioneering for victory" in the provincial armed forces.

Participating in the competition were contestants from the Staff Department, Logistics and Technical Department, Regiment 123, and three grassroots Youth Union branches under the Command of Defense Zone 1 - That Khe, Zone 2 - Bac Son, and Zone 4 - Dinh Lap.

In the competition, contestants successively went through three parts: general knowledge in multiple-choice format; skills for Youth Union officials (practical skills in Youth Union work and personal talents); and propaganda competition.

The competition content focuses on fundamental issues of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought; the Charter of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; resolutions and documents of Party Congresses and Youth Union Congresses at all levels, and action programs to implement the resolutions.

The organizing committee presented awards to the first, second, and third place winners of the competition.

The highlight of the competition was the elaborate preparation of the contestants in the skills section for youth union work and young propagandists. Many contestants demonstrated excellent presentation skills, deviating from the lesson plan, combining illustrative images with lively accompanying performances, creating an exciting atmosphere and attracting viewers.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, and 2 third prizes to the contestants with outstanding achievements. Among them, the Command of Defense Zone 2 - Bac Son won the first prize.

According to the Organizing Committee, the competition is an opportunity to widely disseminate the contents of the documents of the Youth Union Congress and the Party Congress at all levels; at the same time, it creates an environment for Youth Union officials to interact, exchange experiences, improve their theoretical level, advisory capacity, and organizational skills in Youth Union work and youth movements in the armed forces of the province.

This also serves as a basis for selecting outstanding individuals to participate in the competition at Military Region 1 in the near future.
