State budget revenue reached 50.9% of the projected target.

(CT) - As of May 25, 2026, Can Tho City had collected a total of VND 13,686 billion in state budget revenue as allocated by the Central Government, reaching 50.9% of the target. Of this, domestic revenue reached VND 13,111 billion, achieving 50% of the target; and customs revenue reached VND 575 billion, achieving 87.1% of the target.

Striving to complete the state budget revenue collection task in 2026, the city will continue to strengthen financial and budgetary discipline and order, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely collection. The focus will be on expanding the revenue base, strengthening inspections, combating revenue loss, and recovering tax debts. Simultaneously, the city will closely monitor revenue collection progress in each locality, sector, and tax category; and promptly develop solutions to exploit potential revenue sources. Alongside this, it will promote the dissemination and guidance of new policies, ensuring timely implementation of new regulations. Administrative reform will be accelerated, procedures controlled, and linked with digital transformation and the application of information technology to simplify processes and facilitate taxpayers.
