On May 29, in Hanoi, the Central Inspection Commission held its 56th meeting under the chairmanship of Committee Chairman Nguyen Duy Ngoc.
At the meeting, the Central Inspection Committee reviewed and reported on the proposal to discipline party members who violated the law at local party committees and units: Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam Rubber Industry Group, Dong Nai , Hau Giang.

The Central Inspection Commission concluded that Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Education and Training, during her tenure as member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Cua Lo Town Party Committee, Nghe An province, violated Party regulations and State laws in performing her assigned duties and tasks.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi also violated regulations on what party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing serious consequences, reducing the prestige of the party organization, to the point of having to take disciplinary action.
Mr. Tran Ngoc Thuan (former member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group); Vo Van Chanh (former member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province); Nguyen Van Tien (former member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Hau Giang province) have degraded in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, violated the Party's regulations and the State's laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption and negativity.
Messrs. Tran Ngoc Thuan, Vo Van Chanh, and Nguyen Van Tien also violated regulations on what party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing very serious consequences, negatively affecting the reputation of the party organization, local government, and the agency or work unit, to the point of having to take disciplinary action.
Considering the content, nature, level, consequences, and causes of the violation; based on Party regulations, the Central Inspection Committee decided to issue a disciplinary warning to Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi and requested competent authorities to consider and issue disciplinary action to Mr. Tran Ngoc Thuan, Vo Van Chanh, and Nguyen Van Tien.
The Central Inspection Commission requested the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee to direct, review and handle other related individuals.
Also at this session, the Central Inspection Commission discussed and gave opinions on the draft model procedure for inspection and supervision by advisory and support agencies at the Party Committee level; reviewed and resolved 5 cases of party disciplinary complaints and concluded a number of other important contents.
