(MPI) - On September 5, 2024, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Planning and Investment , Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc received Mr. Rafael Frankel, Director of Public Policy for South Asia and Southeast Asia, Meta Group.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc highly appreciated Meta's close coordination with the National Innovation Center (NIC), Ministry of Planning and Investment in promoting innovation and digital transformation activities.
Regarding cooperation activities, the Deputy Minister suggested that Meta and NIC continue to more effectively implement the cooperation agreement signed in 2022, towards expanding the network of innovative enterprises as well as seeking innovative solutions for Vietnam's sustainable development; emphasizing that the Ministry of Planning and Investment will create the most favorable conditions for Meta to continue to do business and cooperate sustainably, long-term and effectively in Vietnam.
Mr. Rafael Frankel thanked Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc for taking the time to welcome her; said that Meta is very proud to be an active partner of the Ministry of Planning and Investment over the past two years, and the cooperation agreement has always been seriously and effectively implemented by both sides.
At the same time, he also expressed his joy that the Vietnam Innovation Challenge program is increasingly attracting many corporations, businesses and startups to participate in finding solutions on innovation and new technology, contributing significantly to the sustainable development of Vietnam; affirming Meta's readiness to cooperate comprehensively with Vietnamese agencies in the coming time./.
