Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu presented funds to support storm recovery efforts and Tet gifts to near-poor households in Quang Yen town.

On the morning of January 18, comrade Nguyen Minh Vu, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs attended the program of donating funds to support storm recovery No. 3, removing temporary and dilapidated houses and giving gifts to near-poor households in Quang Yen town on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025. Also attending was comrade Do Ngoc Thuy, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Speaking at the program, Comrade Nguyen Minh Vu, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, wished the people a joyful, happy, warm, prosperous traditional New Year, and a peaceful and prosperous New Year. He affirmed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to coordinate with Quang Ninh province to effectively implement social security work in the coming time in localities in the province, including Quang Yen town.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Vu, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, sent New Year wishes to households to welcome a warm and joyful New Year.

At the gift-giving program, the Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and the delegation presented 50 million VND in funding to build new houses to overcome the damage caused by typhoon Yagi to the family of Nguyen Xuan Truong, Yen Lap Tay quarter, Minh Thanh ward; and presented 56 million VND in funding to demolish temporary and dilapidated houses to the family of Do Van Tan, Nam 2 village, Lien Vi commune.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Vu, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, presented funds to build new houses for two near-poor households in Lien Vi commune and Minh Thanh ward.

At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs delegation presented 24 gifts to 24 near-poor households in the communes and wards of Tien An, Tan An, and Minh Thanh. Each gift was worth 1.3 million VND, including cash and gifts.

The meaningful gifts, filled with affection from the leaders and experts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will help near-poor households in the town ease their difficulties and welcome a warm and peaceful new year.

The working delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs presented 24 gifts to 24 near-poor households in Quang Yen town.

Also within the framework of the program, Comrade Nguyen Minh Vu, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and the delegation took the time to directly visit and encourage the family of Mr. Vu Tai Binh, Zone 8, Phong Hai Ward, Quang Yen Town. Mr. Vu Tai Binh's family is one of the households with difficult housing circumstances, heavily affected by storm No. 3.

The Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and his delegation directly visited and presented funds to the family of Mr. Vu Tai Binh, Zone 8, Phong Hai Ward, Quang Yen Town.

Sharing the family's difficulties, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu and the delegation presented 50 million VND, motivating the family to build a new, solid and spacious house and quickly overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3.
