According to the report of the Steering Committee 515 of Military Region 9, from 2013 to present, Team K has overcome difficulties and made efforts to search and collect the remains of martyrs in the country and in Cambodia, finding 4,203 remains of martyrs, of which 152 remains of martyrs have been identified. In the dry season of 2024 - 2025 alone, 242 remains of martyrs have been searched and collected, of which 4 remains of martyrs have been identified.

In his speech to encourage the units, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the efforts of the K Teams, who did not fear difficulties and hardships, braved the sun and rain to successfully carry out the sacred task assigned by the Party and State; searching for, gathering and repatriating heroic martyrs to the motherland. This is a sacred political task that has always received special attention from the Party, State and the whole society, demonstrating the tradition and morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the nation.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that the Party and State will continue to do their utmost, mobilizing the entire political system and society to more effectively carry out the work of searching for, collecting and identifying martyrs' remains so that no martyr is forgotten, no family has to wait; and no information, no matter how small, is missed.
The Prime Minister requested the National Steering Committee 515, Military Region 9, local Party committees and authorities, leaders and commanders at all levels to strengthen leadership, direction, and organize the synchronous, drastic, flexible and creative implementation of solutions to review and complete dossiers and lists of martyrs, verify and conclude localities; have specific and practical measures to improve the effectiveness of information, propaganda and mobilization activities for organizations and individuals to provide information on martyrs and martyrs' graves. Strengthen the application of information technology and digital transformation in activities of reviewing, completing dossiers and lists of martyrs, concluding localities, creating maps to search and collect martyrs' remains to achieve high efficiency.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested localities to do a good job in policy work, repay gratitude, and promptly commend collectives and individuals who do a good job in this work. For the forces searching for martyrs' remains, continue to overcome all difficulties to perform their duties and carry out foreign affairs work for the people in the neighboring country, in the spirit of listening, respecting each other, participating in hunger eradication, poverty reduction, overcoming natural disasters, contributing to spreading the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers...
