The Head of Government said that in the context of rapid, complex and unpredictable developments in the world and the region, Vietnam continues to firmly pursue the economic growth target of 8% or more this year, while maintaining macroeconomic stability, controlling inflation, ensuring major balances, and improving the material and spiritual lives of the people. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to promote cooperation with all partners, including the United States.
The Prime Minister suggested closely following the directions of the Politburo and General Secretary To Lam, with a spirit of cooperation, proactiveness, positivity, efficiency, and perseverance, Vietnam is always ready to dialogue, consider issues of concern and requests of partners, including the United States, ready to listen, absorb opinions, and resolve appropriate and appropriate proposals; on the basis of international practices, in compliance with laws and agreements between the two countries.

The Prime Minister pointed out that it is necessary to ensure harmony of interests, sharing of risks, mutual benefits, and joint resolution of any problems, serving the interests of the two countries, people, businesses of both sides and related entities; at the same time, not affecting Vietnam's international commitments, ensuring Vietnam's core interests, meeting the requirements of maintaining independence, sovereignty and building an independent, self-reliant economy associated with proactive, active international integration, deep, substantive and effective.
Regarding institutional and legal issues, the Prime Minister said that the two sides should dialogue and find suitable solutions. If they are beyond their authority, they should propose to competent authorities for consideration and decision. This will contribute to socio-economic development, promote bilateral relations in general and economic, trade and investment relations in particular in an equal, stable, healthy and effective manner.
