On the morning of September 17, after attending and speaking at the opening ceremony of the 20th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS) in Nanning City, Guangxi Province, China, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the opening ceremony of Vietnam's trade pavilion at the fair.

At the fair, Vietnam continued to be the largest participating country in ASEAN, with about 200 booths on an area of nearly 5,000 m2. Many "high-quality Vietnamese" products were introduced, attracting visitors and shoppers such as: Vinamilk , TH True Milk, Thai Duong, Trung Nguyen coffee, Binh Tien shoes, Vinh Tien food, Vinh Hiep agricultural products and food... and many other products and services such as: agricultural products, processed foods, tourism, consumer goods, handicrafts and wood products...

Pressing the button to open the Vietnamese pavilion at CAEXPO, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his joy because Vietnam not only participated in the fair with the most pavilions in ASEAN, but also had a large number of businesses attending the fair to trade and hold seminars. Notably, right at the fair, many economic transactions between businesses were signed with higher quality than previous fairs.

The Prime Minister said that the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries “mountains connected to mountains, rivers connected to rivers” Vietnam and China is developing very well; it is an important foundation for cooperation and trade exchange. However, trade and investment relations between Vietnam and China still have a lot of room.

Therefore, enterprises, ministries, sectors and localities need to strengthen investment promotion activities; innovate production technology, improve product quality, build strong brands, promote products so that Vietnamese goods are more widely accepted in this country of more than 1.4 billion people; contributing to bringing the relationship between the two countries deeper, more substantial and more effective.

The Prime Minister hopes that with its geographical advantage, Vietnam will become a transit point for goods, an important link in the supply chain between ASEAN and China.

Visiting the exhibition booths of China and other countries and writing in the guest book, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his impression of the quality and quantity of the booths. The Prime Minister wished that the Vietnam-China friendship, “both comrades and brothers”, would be forever green and sustainable, for the common prosperity of the two countries and peoples, and for peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
