Khanh Hoa Provincial Library: Opening of the exhibition and awarding ceremony of the preliminary round of the 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador contest

On August 19, Khanh Hoa Provincial Library held the opening ceremony of the exhibition of information resources to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025) and towards the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); summarize and award the preliminary round of the 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest and summarize the summer activities of 2025.

Accordingly, from August 15 to September 30, 2025, the Provincial Library will organize a series of activities with rich and practical content such as: Visual and cyber propaganda about Vietnam's history, traditions and achievements of the cultural sector; displaying and introducing more than 1,000 books about the life, career and ideology of President Ho Chi Minh, the history and significance of the August Revolution in 1945, the tradition of patriotism, the spirit of great national unity and the outstanding achievements of the Party and State in the fields of economy, politics , culture, society, security and defense; organizing an online contest with the theme "80 years of Revolutionary Autumn" for students and union members and youth across the province...

Regarding the 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest held from March 28 to June 20, 2025, the Organizing Committee at facility 1 (Nha Trang ward) received 2,628 entries from 87 schools. Through marking, the Organizing Committee selected 3 quality entries to send to the final round in Hanoi . At facility 2 (Phan Rang ward), the Organizing Committee received 12,450 entries from 82 schools. Through marking, the Organizing Committee selected 5 excellent entries to send to the final round in Hanoi.

For the summer activities in 2025, after nearly 2 months of implementation at facility 1 with 6 activities, attracting more than 700 children to participate such as: Dressing up as fairy tale characters, drawing pictures from books, traveling knowledge, exploring the ocean and many intellectual games creating a fun atmosphere, fostering more knowledge, life skills, creativity, group skills, and love of books for children.

The Department of Education and Training awarded second prize to 5 contestants.

Provincial Youth Union representative awarded third prize to the contestants.

Provincial Library leaders and sponsors awarded consolation prizes to contestants.

On this occasion, the Provincial Library awarded 3 first prizes, 5 second prizes, 8 third prizes, 12 consolation prizes and 1 thematic prize to candidates with excellent entries in the 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest; awarded 2 collective prizes to schools with many winning candidates and schools with many entries; and commended 12 children who actively participated in summer activities. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded certificates of merit to 3 individuals and 1 collective with many achievements in participating in the 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest.
