Basic tax rates in Tay Ninh province for the first six months of 2025.

On the afternoon of July 14th, the Tax Department of Tay Ninh province (referred to as Tax Department 3) held a conference to review tax work in the first six months of the year and to implement tasks and solutions for the last six months of 2025. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Minh Sang, Deputy Head of Tay Ninh Provincial Tax Department, attended the conference.

In 2025, the Provincial People's Committee assigned a total budget revenue target of 1,268 billion VND for the two districts of Can Giuoc and Can Duoc (formerly). Of this, the province assigned nearly 717 billion VND to the former Can Giuoc district; in the first six months of the year, over 763 billion VND was collected, reaching 106.5%. The province assigned 551 billion VND to the former Can Duoc district; in the first six months of the year, 384.7 billion VND was collected, reaching 69.8%.

According to the new organizational model, the Tax Department 3 manages the area of ​​11 communes with an assigned budget of nearly 137 billion VND. In the first six months of 2025, the communes collected nearly 109.6 billion VND, reaching 80% of the budget. Ten communes achieved more than 60% of the budget; among them, Tan Tap commune achieved the highest at 105.5%, and Tan Lan commune achieved the lowest at 57.7%.

Deputy Head of Tax Department of Tay Ninh Province, Nguyen Ngoc Minh Sang, suggested that Tax Department No. 3 should pay attention to revenue targets that have not been met and communes with low achievement rates.

In addition, it is necessary to strengthen inspections to combat tax evasion and manage individual business households. Simultaneously, regular dissemination of relevant policies and laws to taxpayers is crucial.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Minh Sang also proposed continuing the implementation of Project No. 06 on digital transformation, using personal identification in electronic tax declaration and payment, as well as focusing on achieving the targets according to Decision 420/QD-TCT, dated February 28, 2025, issued by the General Department of Taxation on the Project "Innovation and improvement of the quality of business household management".
